Simple
device, very easy to use, it permits us an objective measurement
of vertical perceived by the subject.
A wall case projects a laser stripe on a blank wall in
a dark room 6 to 10 feet (2-3 m) from the subject, it comes from
a laser gun which can move thanks to a noiseless engine.
On this case there is an electronic screen on which you
can read, in degrees, the tilt of the projected vertical.
You can use a remote control with eight buttons to adjust
the orientation of this laser, from horizontal to vertical,
with pre-positionned positions, step by step or continue movement.
This remote control can be given either to the patient or to the
clinician. As an optionnal extra, a software can control the laser,
get the tilts, and save the data on the computer. |
